AbstractAn experiment was performed during summer seasons of (2007) at Al-sofia stage in Ramadi City. The study was about three genotypes of maug bean they are: (VC6089, VC6173, VC6144) the local genotype with five planting date they are:( 1st June, 15th June, 1st July, 15th July and 1st Aug.) with factorial experiment in Randomized complete block design. Below are the important results which are gained. The local genotype surpassed the others with: The height of the root and the yield of seeds of one plant with the other types. The genotype VC6089 surpassed in the number of the branches in root.
The plants which are planted at 15th July Surpassed the others in height of the root (cm), number of the branches in root and the yield of seeds per plant (9.1gm) with other dates.
