Abstract
Field experiment was carried out on silty clay , calcareous Soil in Diyala governorate during 2009-2010 season to study the effect of foliar fertilization by Ca at three concentrations (0,0.5% and 1%) and organic nutrient (Vit-Org) at three concentrations (0 , 2.5 ml/L and 5 ml/L) as well as , two treatments involved cutdown of the disc flower leaves and non cutdown of the disc flower leaves on some yield properties and storability. The results indicated that both calcium and Vit-Org applications had not significant effect on all studied yield parameters . Where as non cutdown of the leaves redused the loss of plant weight significantly and increased the dry weight percentage of the flower disc for storage for 7days under natural storage condition as compared with the leaves cutdown treatment.
