The impact of marketing margin for some vegetable crops on consumer prices In Baghdad province, 2015

Abstract
The research sample wholesale markets and singular to the districts and the areas of the province of Baghdad included a new Baghdad session, beautiful Alwa, Taji, Yusifiya, Allawi Hilla, represented 11.4% of the studied community for a period of three months. Has been monitoring wholesale prices and singular and taking averages her, then was awarded a marketing margins for each of the crops: tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, green peppers option, and the results of the analysis turned out to be the overall marketing margin to harvest tomatoes is 528 dinars kg-1, which represents 108.8% of the price (product) the farmer, and the overall marketing margin for the potato crop is 608.5 dinars / kg and represents a rate of 94.6% of the price of the product (the farmer). While the total marketing margin for cucumber 598.8 dinars kg-1 and representing 105.5% of the farmer price, was marketing margin for crop eggplant 459.2 dinars kg-1, which represents 125% of the farmer price, as marketing margin to harvest green peppers reached 352.6 dinars kg-1,and represents 77.3%. This confirms the high marketing margins for the entire marketing tract crops under study, we conclude that the rising cost of consumer food basket of those crops, which underlines the need to control the marketing tract.
