A field Experiment was Conducted at the farm of Agriculture collee , University Of Anbar, the alternative location (Abu – Gharib) during the season of 2016 to study the effect of planting density (66666, 55555, and 47619) on the yield of the seed cotton and its components for eight cultivars of Upland cotton (CA22, IK347, Lachata, Aleppo 33, Montana, Coker 310, Sp 8886, Iranian 16). Split plot design within R.C.B.D with three replication was used. The varieties as a main plots, while the three siding rates as sub plots with three replication. Genotypic, phenotypic variances and coefficient of variability broad since heritability percentage of fiber index for all planting density (D1, D2 and D3) were high (91.8, 86.9 and 90.5) respectively. Path coefficient analysis that number of bolls and fiber ratios for plant density (D1 and D2) gave highly effect direct (0.92 and 0.94) respectively, while weight of bolls gave high indirect effect from (D3) (0.99).

Response of several genotypes of faba bean by effect plant density

A field experiment has been accomplished during the winter season 2015-2016 at the research station of the college of agriculture-Field Crops-University of Anbar-Alternative location (previously the College of Agriculture-University of Baghdad) which is located in Abu Ghareeb, the longitude ⁰44 and latitude ⁰33. The field is designed according to the Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D.) at the arrangement of split plot dissident panels; with three Replicates. The effect in growth of three plant (Vicia faba L.) densities 55.555, 83.333, 166.66 a thousand plant ha-1 has been studied which is a total of five genotypes and Broad bean (Vicia faba L.) (local (Iraqi)), Spanish, Giza, Hammat and Nobari).
Plant density has a significant effect on all of the growth traits and qualities of the plant. Therefore it has been recorded that the 166.66 plant ha-1, the growth average is 7.73 gm.m2 day-1, and a seed yield with 5.60 ton ha-1. As for the 55.555 plant ha-1 plant density, it has the best qualities such as the average of leaf area by 4096 cm2 plant-1, and active fertility ratio in flowers about 10.46%, the number of pods which is 13.09 pod plant-1, the weight of 100 seeds is 148.5 gm. In all of the studied characteristics, the genotypes varied significantly; as the Spanish genotype has the best average in quality, so it produced about 7.06 ton ha-1. The impact of inference between global studies was significant for most of the qualities if given plant density 55.55 plant ha-1 with genotype Spain's highest effective fertilization in flowering with 11.54 % and the number of cores in the plant 16017 pod. Plant while gave the plant density with genotype spain highest average yield growth rate of 8.93, so we recommend 8.55 ton ha-1 in the use of Spanish class with high densities.

Response of Two Varieties of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) to Plant Density

Afield trial was carried out at the Experimented farm College of Agriculture، university of Anbar Abu – Ghraib، during spring and fall seasons 2015.The objective was to know the effect of plant distribution (distances between rows and plant) in some traits growth، yield and yield components for two cultivars' of Sorghum (Abu-ALSabeen and Rabeh)، using split- split plot by Randomized complete Block Design with three replicates.
Rabeh cultivar had superiority in all studied traits except plant height and biological yield in which Abu -Alsbeen cv. was superior recording 203.65 and 280.9 cm for plant height in both spring and autumn seasons، respectively and biological yield reached 37.85 ton h -1 in autumn season only. While the cultivar had superiority in weight yield and biological yield. The plant density in all of studied traits.
The narrow spaces of (10 cm) among row and (50 cm) among line had superiority in each of plant height، leaf area index ،biological yield and grains yield in compared with large distance (20 cm) among hills and (70cm) among line which had superiority in each of leaf area and stem diameter، Distance 10 cm gave significant in height of plant abut 179.89cm، in spring season. Nevertheless, distance 20 cm had largest leaf area of 3544 and 4234 cm2 in each season, respectively. The interaction between cultivars and spaces effected significantly, for Abu- ALsbeen with (10cm) agricultural spaces indicated the highest average for grain yield with 10.87 ton ha-1, only in autumn season.
