Effects of foliar application of yeast extract on seed yield, and seed yield components of five sorghum cultivars.

A field experiment was conducted at the experimental farm, College of Agriculture, Al-jadrea, Baghdad, Iraq during spring season of 2016 to study the effects of foliar application with yeast extract on grain yield, yield components of five sorghum cultivars. The layout of the experiments was split plot design with three replicates , The five cultivars it is kafeer, bohooth 70, rabih, inkath and local, occupied the main plots while yeast extract concentrations 0, 5, 10,15 gr L-1 occupied the sub-plots. Results of this experiment are summarized as follows: number of seeds per head, seed yield increased with the increase of yeast extract concentrations and the best concentration in most of yield characters was 15gm L-1. The cultivar buhooth 70 was superior in 1000 seed weight, seed yield while the cultivar Rabih was superior in number of seeds per head.

Influence of spraying by suspended dry yeast bread and soaked licorice root and salsalic acid to resist fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum on eggplant

The experiment carried out in the laboratories and fields, of the college Agriculture- University of Baghdad–Department of plant protection, to see the effect of the use of yeast bread and soaked water for licorice and salisalic said on the growth of fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum that causes mold white eggplant, results showed superiority of aci salisalic acid in reducing the severity of the infection, amounting to 70.66% concentration of 600 ppm and night soaked licorice intensity amounted infection 25% at a concentration of 4%. while the yeast has the intensity was the infection of 15% at a concentration of 5%, as for criteria growth it has characterized the yeast in both length and width of the paper and the paper weight mild dry weight and plant height as it was 12.05 cm , 9.06 cm, 18.94 gm, respectively, compared with the control treatment deserted fungus.

The effect of adding (seidlitzia rosmarinus), probiotic, fermentation feed, yeast to the ration of male broiler breeder (Ross 308) contaminated with Aflatoxin B1 on some blood traits and visceral organ weight

The study was carried out at the field of animal Resources –College of Agricultural – University of Al-Anbar form 19/2/2013 to 19/3/2013.Thirty, five rosters of (Ross 308) at the age of thirty eight weeks were distributed on five treatments with five replicates per treatment. The first treatment T1 control treatment, the second T2 added 1.5 mg Aflatoxin kg feed, The third T3 add 1.5 mg Aflatoxin / kg feed and 2% S.R, The fourth add 1.5 mg Aflatoxin / kg feed and 4% S.R, The fifth T5 add 1.5 mg Aflatoxin kg feed and 2kg probiotic /ton feed , The sixth T6 add 1.5 mg aflatoixn kg feed and 50% fermentation feed ,The seventh T7 add 1.5 mg Aflatoixn kg feed and 1kg saccharmyces cerevisiae /ton feed .The experiment was conducted to explain the role of Seidlieza rosmarinus and probiotic ,Saccharomyes cervisiae, fermentation feed in reduction the negative effect of Alfatoxin B1 in some and biochemical blood traits and the relative organ weight. The result of experiment showed significant (p≤0.05) differences in the activity of AST, ALT and in the albumin concentration in blood plasma and in the relative weight of pancreas, kidney and there were no significant differences in other parameters of experiment.

نفذت التجربة فی مدینة الرمادی / محافظة الانبار للموسمین 2009 و 2010 لمعرفة تاثیر رش معلق الخمیرة ومستخلص عرق السوس ومرکب الامینوکولنت بوتاسیوم فی نمو وحاصل العنب صنف Black Hamburg المربى بطریقة القمریات واجری التقلیم الشتوی فی منتصف کانون الثانی ولموسمی الدراسة وذلک بترک 8 قصبات اثماریة یحتوی کل منها على 15 عینا" مع ترک عدد من الدوابر التجدیدیة وبواقع برعمین , اضیفت عوامل الدراسة رشا" بالمستویات ( 0 ، 5 و 10 غم / لتر ) و ( 0 ، 2 و 4 غم / لتر ) و ( 0 ، 2 و 4 مل / لتر ) لکل من الخمیرة ومستخلص عرق السوس ومرکب الامینوکولنت بوتاسیوم على التوالی وبثلاثة مواعید الاول قبل اسبوعین من الازهار والثانی بعد اسبوع من العقد والثالثة بعد اربعة اسابیع من الموعد الثانی, صممت المعاملات بتجربة عاملیة بتصمیم القطاعات الکاملة المعشاة بثلاثة مکررات بواقع کرمة واحدة لکل وحدة تجریبیة وبذلک یکون عدد الکرمات الداخلة فی التجربة 81 کرمة . أظهرت النتائج ان عدد العناقید تأثر معنویا" للموسم الثانی فقط وذلک عند الرش بالخمیرة والامینوکولنت اذ حققت المعاملتان ( 10 غم/لتر خمیرة و 4 مل/لتر أمینوکولنت ) اکبر عدد للعناقید بلغ 51,19 و 50,74 عنقود/کرمة مقارنة مع المعاملتین ( 0غم/لتر خمیرة و 0 مل/لتر أمینوکولنت ) اذ اعطتا اقل عدد للعناقید 47,85 و 47,67 عنقود/کرمة ، کذلک فان معامل الخصوبة أظهر تأثره بعوامل الدراسة للموسم الثانی فقط اذ اعطت المعاملات ( 10 غم/لتر خمیرة ، 4 غم/لتر عرق السوس و 4 مل/لتر أمینوکولنت ) اعلى القیم وبلغت 1,24 ، 1,20 و 1,22 , کما بینت النتائج ان معاملات البحث قد أثرت معنویا" فی مساحة الورقة ومحتوى الاوراق من الکلوروفیل ومحتوى القصبات من النتروجین والکربوهیدرات .

Effect of fermented, addition of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast and water to the ration on some blood characters of broiler

This experiment was conducted in the animal production field belong to the station of Agricultural Research (Ministry of Agriculture) , 600 one day old broiler chicks (Fawbro) were used and distributed into 4 treatments (3 replicates/ treatment, each repl. consist of 50 chicks) , the first treatment was control, in the 2nd treatment chicks were gave the fermented ration (0.2% Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast + 500 ml of tap water per kg ration + fermentation for 24 hours) , in the 3rd treatment chicks gave the ration contain 0.2% S. cerevisiae (without fermentation) , and in the 4th treatment chicks gave soaked ration with 500 ml of tap water per kg of ration immediately before feeding.
The results of the experiment revealed that the birds which gave the fermented feed had significant increase in Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Thrombocytes and Packed Cells Volume in their whole blood, and there is insignificant increase between the means of treatments in Heterocyte to Lymphocyte ratio, the same significant increase were happened in Hemoglobin, total protein, glucose, calcium, phosphorous, cholesterol and in the activity of Alkaline Phosphatase enzyme in the plasma of the birds which gave the fermented feed. The birds which gave soaked feed and feed with the S. cerevisiae had significant improvement in blood and plasma characters compared with the control treatment but less than the group of birds which consumed the fermented feed.
